California Building Material Dealers is a nonprofit association representing and made of building material dealers, manufacturers, and industry related professionals. They joined together to develop confidence, promote communication, and grain group influence to benefit its members. Building material industry members personally gain by getting to know each other and by sharing ideas, problems and information concerning our business and industry. Our goal is to serve and keep you on the leading edge of our ever-changing industry through advocacy, information, cooperation, and innovation.
CBMDA has a proven record of accomplishment on behalf of its members since 1946. Today, it is the recognized representative of the building material industry in California. Its the known and respected voice heard in the legislature, in labor organization, and throughout the California construction industry.
The members, like the voters in any democratic organization, have the final word in all that we do. A constant vigil of communication and the nurturing of confidence is our everyday concern. We accomplish this though publications, internet, and personal contacts in the field.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The board has the power to transact association affairs. They have the usual power of corporate officer and, as such, are obligated to perform their duty to the best of their ability.
The staff administration association affairs under the supervision board. The staff assist in the planning program, directing and handling association projects, meetings, conferences, and conventions. They support the board of directors with business affairs, and publication.
